Perhaps  the most challenging calling is that of ministry. By ministry, we at TBm don’t simply refer to pulpit preaching but the day-to-day of Kingdom Business.

For most ministers, the calling into ministry was a 'spiritual' summon, an unction to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, ministry today is much more complex and demanding than just preparing a sermon. When the community needs answers or assistance dealing with injustice and civil wrongs, guidance for families infected and affected by AIDS, gun violence, counseling for widows and orphans, assistance with job searches for the unemployed, etc., it is often the church to the rescue. And for many Pastors, though they may have classes or a degree in theology, few         possess a Human Resources and/or Business background.
 

The truth be told many people working in ministry have ungodly finances, living from check-to-check, no retirement plan, low credit scores, and the likes -- as they proclaim "God can..." So imagine the potential danger when a minister assumes Office of Pastor and the responsibilities of thousands (if not millions) in cash, budgets, properties, payroll, personnel, sex offenders, ex-cons, etc., with no or limited training in stewardship.
